Timber Ridge Country Club (Memphis Missouri)
This ten (10) year old course is has already gotten the attention of area golfers. It features Pennlinks, Bentgrass geens, Bluegrass tee boxes and fairways, all irrigated. This course has a mixture of hills and water and gentle slopes. The course has a total 17 sand traps and plenty of mature timber lining the fairways, which have numerous mounds to challenge your ability to hit from uneven lies.
This rural nine hole course is situated on a ridge and affords views of the surrounding Missouri cropland. The short yardage makes it perfect for juniors and seniors, while narrow, rolling fairways and subtly undulating greens provide a comfortable challenge. The signature hole is #6, a 364-yard, par 4, featuring a green mounded in the rear, which slopes toward the pond located directly in front. There are six ponds coming into play on five holes. This Nine (9) hole course measures 2,529 yards and par 34.
It also has a clubhouse with a snack bar, pro shop and cart rental. The rates at this course are very reasonable. It is recommended that you call ahead for weekend tee times during the season.
